The support windows.
Besides the browser window, Pioneer Report MDI has four windows for supporting file or web page viewing. The windows are not required for viewing content and are able to be hidden or shown at any time. These support windows are called Workspace Explorer, History, Details, and Picture.
The Workspace Explorer displays an item for any open browser window in the workspace. This window makes it possible to navigate the workspace without clicking on a browser window. It also has connection status, and displays an item count for the result items in the view of a browser window.
The Workspace Explorer allows navigation of the workspace.
In addition to the workspace and Workspace Explorer, Pioneer Report MDI displays submitted file and web page requests in the History window. Instead of retyping a file or web page request, double-click an item (or press Enter if an item has the focus) in the History window. The request is submitted, as if it were sent from the address bar or the form of a browser window.
To remove one or more items from the History window, select the item and press the Delete key. Rename items displayed in the History window so they are easier to remember.
The History window displays file and web page requests.
Sometimes, it is not possible to see all the content for a specific item in a view. It requires scrolling to see everything. To see the content for a specific item without scrolling from side-to-side, there are two options. One is to hover over the item with the mouse, which shows a tooltip. The other is to use the Details window.
Details displays the entire text content for a selected item.
When a selected item is associated with an image, the Picture window displays it.
Picture displays an image for a selected item.
When it is all put together, this is how it looks:
