Once web hosting is in place, to add an image, use an <img> tag where you want the image to appear:
<img src="http://www.example.com/image.jpg" alt="title or description" />
The URL, "http://www.example.com/image.jpg", is simply a placeholder. Replace it with the actual URL of the image. Replace "title or description" with the title or description of your choice.
Using width and height, you set those image attributes in the web browser. To do this, use the code shown below. Replace "y" with the height of the image, in pixels, from top to bottom. Replace "x" with the width of the image, in pixels. from left to right:

Xanga Tips.
You don't want to annoy your users. They won't return! So, try not to do any of the following to your Xanga layout.
- Auto-play music.
What the hell? Some of us do other things, while reading Xangas. Some of us read multiple Xangas at the same time. Keep your music to yourself. If you have to play it, at least give the option of stopping the music.
- Customize scrollbars.
Some are okay. But... when the colors are so weird someone has to actually THINK about scrolling through your site, it's overdoing it.
- Flashing/blinking/autoscrolling things.
Okay, so those were cool in 1997. There’s a reason why most web browsers don’t support the BLINK tag anymore. Get with the times and get rid of the distractions.
- Scrolling titlebar.
Oh wow, you make the titlebar scroll. Is there anything else you’d like to do, to cheapen your Xanga?
- Right-click prevention.
As if there’s anything in your Xanga worth stealing. If you use your little Javascript right-click stopper, you have too much time on your hands.
There's more… but this isn't my job. Some others are weird fonts, weird font colors, awkward positioning, and CHANGING MOUSE CURSORS (DAMN YOU).
